Examination time depends on the field of research and the need for intravenous contrast enhancement, on average it takes from 30 to 60 minutes.
Preliminary preparation is necessary for examinations of the organs of the abdominal cavity (fasting), for examination of the pelvic organs (preliminary cleaning of the large intestine) and for studies with intravenous contrast enhancement (prior consultation with an allergist and clarification of the serum creatinine level).
